Mom Vs Mom !

Stay-Home-Mom Vs Working Mom:
I am just sick over this topic.. coz i've been thru so many snide comments from working moms about looking after the kids and staying at home. I love being a Stay-Home-Mom but I do have plans to get back to work later. In my humble opinion, the decision to stay back with children or to work is just a choice. It's not about morality or duty or resposibility and it's not really about money. It's about what you want to do with your life. Whether/Why/Where/When/How you work should matter to no one other than your partner and children. I find it baffling that someone who chose stay at home parenthood for their family should be slackening than someone who chose to work.Either Stay at Home or working Mother can be Great parents.

Very interesting article. I can see both sides of the story since I was a working mom for the first three years of my son's life but for now I have been a stay at home mom.
I will be returning back to work very soon (job hunting now) because we need more income. But in my ideal situation I would stay home with my kids until they were both school age.
As u said both are challenging. Good luck with your blogging.

I totally agree , that its your choice to decide. I have been a full time working mom and have felt guilty that i wasnt with my kid whenever he reached his milestones at every phase. On the other hand my kid had been well mannered than most of the kids raised at home, thanks to the day care. so there are always pros and cons.

Hi abi nice to see your first blog. Its very good. I read this article and thought i could shed few words of mine..... here it goes:
Im a working Mom. But i was full-fledged stay-at-home mom before i started working . Staying home with babies was a lot harder than I thought it would be.
SAHMs are mystified that some moms can leave their kids in daycare or with a nanny all day, and working moms often wonder what in the world would the SAHMs do all day.
I actually had a friend of mine who is a working mother asked me “What do stay-at-home moms do all day? So here are the answers :Cook, dishwashing, cleaning-up, change poopy diapers, play with the baby, go grocery shopping, change more poopy diapers, run errands for the working spouse, do laundry, again entertain the baby with some activities and anything else that needs to be done. The next day, repeat it all over again. This is a payless round the clock job! The moral of the story is that neither working moms or SAHMs have it all figure out. Regardless of what route you choose - whether it’s staying at home or going back to work - make sure it’s the right decision for you.

Good luck with yor blog.

Very interesting.I've seen both sides. Being a stay at home mom for the first few years is a good way to learn many things that the mother-hood would like to teach all moms. It is not only about taking care of the baby, it definitely builds up a strong bond between mom and the baby. By watching each and every moment of the baby's growth is something everyone would cherish. Ofcourse, we are humans and get exhausted, and show anger, frustration at times. This teaches mom to have more patience :-) Working moms would have added pressure of work on top of all these, thou' even their time with the baby is equally a learning experience. In my opinion, it is upto the mom, and dad ofcourse, to decide what best suits them, and they would enjoy the best. Enjoy the precious time with kids, while you can, as days go by so fast that before we realise, the kid will be leaving for college.
Good luck with all your endeavors.
